OAKLAND, Calif.The North Bay was drenched in rain on Wednesday, causing airport delays, power outages for thousands and traffic jams.

Round 2 of this storm is expected to hit on Friday, covering a wide area of ​​the Bay Area, according to National Weather Service meteorologist Brayden Murdock.

“It’s widespread,” Murdock said.

Murdock said that this is one of the most important rivers of space at the beginning of the season from 2021 and “people should not take this lightly.”

Anyone who hasn’t cleaned their gutters or cleaned their yards is definitely going to “feel the pain of this one,” he said.

Here is a timeline of when the rain should hit hard on Friday.

6 a.m

The first rain will hit Santa Rosa, San Francisco, Oakland.

10 a.m

Rain will hit Napa.

11am to 2pm

Heavy rain will fall in the San Francisco-Oakland area this afternoon.

2pm to 6pm

The rain will moderate, and the wind will decrease.

6 p.m

Rain will fall south towards San Jose.

10 p.m

It will rain.

Murdock said Saturday will see scattered showers, but there will be dry areas between the showers.

And on Sunday?

More rain is ahead.

“We’re not going to run out of water anytime soon,” Murdock said.
