FEDERAL HEIGHTS, Colo. (KDVR) – A couple filmed a woman pulling a gun on them in the parking lot of a King Soopers near Federal Heights.
The couple told FOX31 it happened a few days ago around 7 pm and the parking lot was full. The couple, who did not want to be named, said they were getting ready to leave when they stopped behind a car that was not moving.
DA: 17 indicted for stealing trucks from Denver, selling them to Mexican drug cartels.
“So we blew the horn trying to show them to keep going, then this girl came out and started walking as if she was cursing us,” she said.
The two then started recording the exchange on their phone, and the woman pulled out a gun with a blue laser sight.
“I looked down at my shirt and I saw a laser on my shirt and I was like we have to go, we have to go, like I was scared,” the driver in the car said.
They backed out of the parking lot and called the police. The couple said they don’t remember anything other than blowing the horn to provoke the incident. But, they said they are going to be very careful before blowing the whistle in the future.
“There was no exchange of words before that or anything,” the couple said. “Maybe it makes me feel like I should have been patient. And I just waited because maybe it wouldn’t have happened.”
