The interest of the US in the future of Ukraine?
Here are some highlights of Donald Trump’s one-day peace plan for the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Russia gets to protect all the countries in the east and south of Ukraine for now, with the guarantee that Ukraine will never become a member of NATO. It is very good for the future of democratic Ukraine. There will be a promise from Vladimir Putin that there will be no more interference in sovereign Ukraine, and you know we trust Putin. Here’s the good part: Trump will drop all the sanctions and freeze all the money and goods, and it will be back to business as usual. My hope is that Ukraine, along with all NATO nations, will find this completely unacceptable.
