The cargo plane that crashed in Vilnius was a Swift Air plane

The cargo plane that crashed near the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, was a flight from the Spanish airline Swift Air, said the German mail delivery company DHL where it worked.

DHL said on Monday that Swift Air is operating under an agreement.

According to the information provided, the plane was traveling from the eastern German city of Leipzig to Vilnius. About one kilometer before the airport, it was said that it had to make an emergency landing.

The “condition” of the workers remains unclear, DHL said, adding that “thoughts are with them and their families.”
