Mukova, notorious for her flamboyant behavior in Asia, was walking around the building when Yu met her. Witnesses report that Yu assaulted Somali after an escalating conversation.
Yu was arrested after the incident and is currently being investigated for assault. In a brief statement to reporters, Yu showed no remorse, saying he had acted to defend South Korea’s honor. “I couldn’t stand when someone was insulting the victims of history and our country,” he said.
