Nate Tice and Matt Harmon take a close look at the NFL’s middle class as they determine whether each team with playoff hopes should prepare for the playoffs or pack their bags.
First, the pair opens with the news that the New York Jets have fired their general manager, Joe Douglas. The move was largely expected, but it really shows how far this franchise has fallen from the optimism surrounding the acquisition of Aaron Rodgers just two seasons ago. Nate and Matt also discuss whether Rodgers could return (on another team) in 2025.
Moving on to some teams that deserve more attention, Nate and Matt start with the teams on the bubble in the AFC playoff race as they diagnose the Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals (both under 10% playoff odds), Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos and decide if they are ready to make the playoffs or if they are destined for Cancun.
The NFC race is even tighter than the AFC as Nate and Matt give their predictions on the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before trying to analyze the NFC West, which includes the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers. and the Los Angeles Rams.
