Mitt Romney Makes Strong Predictions for 2028 GOP Presidential Nominee

The former Republican vice president, Mitt Romney, has revealed who he believes will lead the Republicans in the next election in 2028.

Interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on State of the Union On Sunday, the Utah senator said he believes Vice President-elect JD Vance will take over from President-elect Donald Trump.

“If you were to ask me who is going to be elected in 2028 I think it would be JD, Vance,” Romney said. “He’s smart, well-spoken, part of the MAGA organization.”

Tapper pointed out how Romney was “angry” about the Ohio Senator a few months ago when he said he didn’t respect him.

“I’m not going to repeat history, and we’ve worked together in the Senate ever since,” he said.

Romney also said that Mr. Trump’s plan on the policy does not match the concerns of voters, despite his victory in the general election in November.

“Will the party want to change? The Republican Party has become the party of working class, middle class voters, and you have to give Donald Trump credit for doing that and taking it away from the Democrats,” he said.

“One of the problems in my party is that our laws are not in line with the needs of the voters, so there will be some necessary reforms in my party.

The former presidential candidate has confirmed that the Democrats ignored the issues of the voters during the campaign this year.

“I don’t know how they recover,” he said. “They had nowhere to start. Union boys and gals have left the Democratic Party and are voting Republican, and the Democratic Party is seen not as rich people, but as college professors and cursing, and that’s not an attractive thing.

“Why did they misread social norms? Did they not understand how upset people were about inflation? But President Biden was there saying, ‘Bidenomics.’ Like, really? Don’t you see what people see when they go to the grocery store?”

Despite being a fierce critic of Donald Trump, Romney said he “wanted to live” with the fact that many did not agree with his views on the government of the Republican Party.

But he remained silent about who he voted for this year, jokingly saying that voting in secret is a “strange” thing.

He also admitted that he was wrong in his assumption that Mr. Trump would not win the election. Americans will have to wait another four years to see if he is wrong with their predictions in the presidential election of the Republican Party.
