The fatal crash of a McLaren hitting a car at a residential intersection in Dallas, Texas and tearing it in half after hitting a tree shocked many. After all, some seem to believe these British supercars can do no harm, but the driver and passenger both died after first responders arrived at the scene.
Another fatal Tesla accident seems familiar.
Aerial footage of the aftermath of the crash shows the McLaren split in half behind the rear seats. It is true that there is water and it looks like foam that firefighters use to fight gasoline fires, which seems to indicate that a large car has caught fire.
But we don’t know if it was a fire or if the result killed the driver and the driver. Another person who was in the other car involved in the accident was also injured, but it seems that the injuries were not serious.
A CBS Texas news helicopter was able to check the paper for a short time tag on McLaren, which expires on December 15. In other words, the owner may have just bought a supercar and therefore was not really familiar with it.
We do not know if that caused the accident as information about what happened has not been obtained by the authorities. However, given how the McLaren is split in two, speed may be a factor.
Most people buy a fast car by showing it off and just feeling the rush as it goes faster. We get it, that’s fun, but it comes with risks when you’re speeding in populated areas like this accident happened. In addition, those roads are designed for slow speeds.
In other words, be careful when you’re out enjoying your recreational vehicle, whether it’s a luxury car, muscle car, sports car, etc. No car is completely immune to high-speed damage, so drive safely even if you’re having a good time.
