‘Tis the season to cycle. Black Friday is one of the best (if not the best time) to sign up for streaming services, as you can often get serious savings on monthly membership fees. In past years, we’ve seen Hulu offer a 99-cent subscription and Max offer six months of streaming for $2.99 a month. And we are happy to say that these agreements have been revived in 2024.
With streaming prices skyrocketing over the past year, we’re a little surprised at how amazing some of these Black Friday deals are. If you are looking for a way to control advertising costs, now is a good time to take advantage of deeply discounted subscriptions. Just note that these deals are limited to new and returning subscribers (ie, you previously subscribed to Max, but canceled your subscription a month ago) only.
There is no need to wait around for the actual Black Friday. Grab these pens before they run out. If any other stream catches on, we’ll be sure to update this with the latest and greatest. For now, here are all the best Black Friday travel deals that are live.

Hulu has ads for a monthly subscription
$0.99/month for one year (save $108)
Why do we like it?
Hulu remains the top dog when it comes to Black Friday deals. For the second year in a row, the advertiser is offering a full year of Hulu with ads for just $0.99 a month. That’s less than $12 in total for a full year’s cycle. It’s surprising, to be honest, since Hulu increased the price of its original plan last month from $799 per month to $9.99 per month. In other words, the savings this year are even more impressive – 90% or $108 per 12 months. It’s just…crazy.
Hulu is the streaming home for three of our favorite sports of 2023, A bear, Abbott Elementaryand Reservation Dogalong with our top favorite show of 2024, Shogun. It’s also where you find episodes of ABC shows the day after they air, like Dancing with the Starsand Neon new movies outside of sports, like Cuckoo (coming December 17).

Max has resurrected his original Black Friday deal from last year, but that doesn’t make us love him any less.
