LUXEMBOURG (Reuters) – The European Union’s countermeasures concentrating on a listing of U.S. imports in response to the Trump’s administration metal and aluminum tariffs will probably be lower than 26 billion euros’ ($28.46 billion) price after taking in account member states’ remarks, EU commerce commissioner Maros Sefcovic advised reporters on Monday.
“Relating to metal, aluminum and derivatives (…) we’re speaking about 26 billion euros. As a part of the U.S. administration’s sweeping tariffs plan, the 27-nation EU bloc faces 25% import tariffs on metal and aluminium and automobiles.
