CHICAGO – A younger waitress is recovering after she was crushed by two girls inside a Pilsen restaurant final Friday evening in an assault caught on surveillance video.

Chicago police say the assault occurred at El Taco Azteca on West Cermak Highway.
The restaurant’s proprietor, Martha Garcia, mentioned the incident began when two girls returned after choosing up their tacos and margaritas, claiming they had been dissatisfied with the meals and demanding their a refund.
“When the women come again, virtually (all) her meals (was eaten),” mentioned Garcia.
Safety video reveals the ladies throwing objects contained in the restaurant and knocking down decorations. When the waitress confronted them, she was punched and stomped a number of occasions.
The waitress reportedly suffered bruises, cuts, and even a damaged finger. She’s solely been working on the restaurant for about 5 months.

Alderman Byron Sigcho Lopez has known as the incident “unacceptable.”
