An arrest was made in connection with the death of an 80-year-old Marshfield man, according to the Plymouth District Attorney’s Office.
A death investigation at 853 Main St. began Wednesday night with the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, Marshfield Police and Massachusetts State Police.
The district attorney’s office said there was no threat to public safety.
The name of the dead man and the charges brought against Lombardi have not been released.
Lombardi was arrested by Marshfield Police on Wednesday and has since been held on $1,000 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Plymouth District Court on Friday.
