An arrest has been made in a pedestrian crash after a road rage incident in New Hampshire, police say

A New Hampshire man has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian that allegedly occurred after a traffic incident in October, police said Friday.

Nathaniel Duehart, 25, of Manchester, was arrested Thursday and charged with disorderly conduct after an accident, resulting in injury, a Class B Felony, and simple assault, a Class A misdemeanor, police said.

On October 4, officers responded to the Dunkin’ located at 119 East Hollis St. in Nashua for a report of a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian.

When the police arrived, they found out that a woman had been hit by a car following a street fight. The victim was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, police said.

Witnesses provided police with the license plate number of the suspect’s vehicle and a description of the driver.

With the help of the Hudson Police Department, officers located the suspect vehicle and the driver, later identified as Duehart.

Criminal Investigation Division detectives investigating the case obtained a warrant for Duehart’s arrest, police said.

Duehart, already on parole with the New Hampshire Department of Corrections, denied bail and appeared before the 9th Circuit, District Division in Nashua on Friday.
