Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (DN.Y.) teased the new gig of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) as “really interesting.”
Mr. Donald Trump acolyte Greene will be the chairman of the new committee of the House that will work together with the owner of the billionaire Tesla Elon Musk and the former representative of the GOP president, Vivek Ramaswamy’s unofficial federal agency, the Department of Government Efficiency, which will seek to reduce red tape and public money.
Ocasio-Cortez explained on Musk-owned X, the platform that used to be called Twitter, why she believes the appointment is “good, really.”
Greene “doesn’t show and doesn’t read,” said the New York Democrat. “To borrow a quote I’ve seen elsewhere, it’s like giving someone an unlocked steering wheel.”
In a second post, Ocasio-Cortez said she is “absolutely dying for this couple to be given the privilege” of “working” with MTG.
“That’s interesting,” he wrote. “Rejoice, dear ones! Very popular post you have there. “
Some critics mocked the news on social media as well:
November 14, 2024Elon Musk says he wants ‘super high IQ’ DOGENov workers. 21, 2024 Marjorie Taylor Greene to appoint new DOGE subcommittee chair It’s a wonderful time to be alive for late night talk show writers. 😅🤣😂

I don’t know what Musk and Ramaswamy did to make it so when Trump came out, but apparently they will be working with Marjorie Taylor Greene in the DOGE department. That’s the kind of punishment that only House Republicans should be forced to endure.
