HENDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – A state trooper was arrested after he forced his way into an East Texas home to see a girl.

According to an arrest affidavit, officers were dispatched to a home on County Road 2507 in Eustace on Dec. 1 at 3:16 a.m. for a possible burglary. When officers arrived at the address, they spoke with someone who said an unknown man wearing a gray hoodie was at his home and showed him a badge that identified him as a state trooper. The army is said to have wanted to know where his nephew was.
The man, later identified as Jacob McKeon, a state trooper from Ellis County, pushed the man aside and entered the house without permission. McKeon allegedly went into the rooms and woke up the parents in the house.

During the interview, the mother said “she woke up to a man standing in her bedroom whom she did not know, shouting ‘wake up I am the law and you will go to jail.’ The mother said she asked McKeon to go to jail. to leave his house he said no. She dressed the man and kept yelling at him in the living room.
McKeon was charged with criminal mischief and legal suppression. The same day McKeon was released after posting a $60,000 bond.
