A multi-vehicle accident involving a school bus on eastbound I-630 in Little Rock is backing up traffic Saturday night.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Traffic on eastbound Interstate 630 in Little Rock was backed up Saturday night due to a multi-vehicle accident involving a school bus.

According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation iDriveArkansas camerasThe accident happened near exit 4 and affected all lanes.

The incident was first reported at 5:22 pm and crews from ARDOT are still working to clear the area.

ARDOT reports that someone was in traffic being diverted from the center of exit 5.

According to the Little Rock Fire Department, five people were injured in the crash and transported to local hospitals, but none were students and none were in critical condition.

Government officials did not say which school the students on the bus were from, but said they were all able to get on another bus.
