A man was caught after a secret drawing was shared on Tik Tok

A man has been arrested after women were photographed at night without their knowledge and the footage was shared on social media.

An investigation by BBC North West revealed that such films received millions of views and attracted sexist comments, which led to police inquiries.

Videos on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, often called Manchester nightlife or Liverpool nightlife were posted daily.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stalking and harassment in Bradford earlier and is being questioned in police custody.

Meg told the BBC that she was filmed walking along Deansgate in Manchester with two other women.

The 23-year-old said she had no idea she was being filmed until she was sent a link to one of the videos.

He said: “I don’t really have words other than I just feel sick.”
