Here are the dates held

Norwegian Cruise Line has canceled around five months of cruises on three ships.

The cruise line has canceled sailings between November 2025 and April 2026 on the Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Star and Norwegian Jewel ships. The following dates are affected:

  • Norwegian Dawn: November 2, 2025, up to and including April 12, 2026

  • Norwegian Star: November 20, 2025, up to and including April 14, 2026

  • Norwegian Jewel: November 23, 2025, up to and including April 5, 2026

The line cited “ship rerouting” as the reason for the change in letters sent to passengers and passengers on Thursday, the company shared with USA TODAY.

“Sometimes, scheduled trips may need to be canceled, giving us the opportunity to introduce cruises that suit guests’ needs and provide the best experience,” the letter read. “While it is unfortunate that cancellations may arise, please be assured that we are always working hard to provide you with international vacations to the destinations listed. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this cancellation may cause. “

Your trip has been cancelled: Now what?

Affected guests will receive a full refund of their fees and a 10% future travel credit.

The news comes after Norwegian canceled more than a dozen voyages on seven ships scheduled for 2025 earlier this year. Ship cancellations are rare, but can happen for other reasons, such as a full charter ship or a ship needing to go to a dry dock.
