Although he looked the picture of health, Giorgetta said that he did not eat any nutritious food at the height of his career as a bodybuilder and did not eat enough during his training program. In one week, he did resistance training four times a week for 45 to 60 minutes.

She described her eating habits as “negligent,” with a low profile and little attention to food. “I’d just grab something quick from the fridge, usually in favor of something bland like cheese on toast,” she said.

Although she promoted a lifestyle of eating more calories and nutritious food online, she struggled to eat that way most of the time. As a result, he often felt tired and weak.

On an average day, he used to eat:

“I tend to gravitate towards simple foods like toast with spreads, but now I’ve tried to make small changes that don’t overwhelm me,” she said.

He eats a hearty breakfast, has nutritious snacks, and adds protein or fiber to the diet. “Instead of eating jam, I have toast and eggs, and instead of eating only cheese, I will have a salad,” he said.

Giorgetta strength trains three or four times a week, but also runs once or twice a week. He burns his body depending on the exercise he is doing: for example, he eats a heavy carb meal or snack before running.

On an average day, he now eats:

  • Breakfast or post-workout: Buttered wholemeal toast with cheesy scrambled eggs and avocado
