A crash at the Highway 22 and Highway 51 interchange near Salem is causing delays Friday night.
According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, drivers should expect delays on Highway 22 west of Salem and on Highway 51 at the 22 and 51 junction due to the accident.
Motorists are asked to use an alternative route or stop moving.
Traffic is backed up on Highway 22 near Salem due to an accident at the Highway 22 and Highway 51 interchange Friday night.
Those driving in the area should watch for diversions or traffic flaggers, ODOT said.
ODOT said it may take some time for traffic to clear because the crash happened during rush hour. The agency is asking drivers to check and slow down for emergency responders.
