Bayless strangely reprimands Kerr’s antics of officials in Warriors loss appeared first on NBC Sports Bay Area
Skip Bayless had an interesting response to Steve Kerr’s complaints about the Warriors’ 91-90 loss to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
The outspoken pundit rebuked Kerr’s claim that the referees were wrong to call a foul on Jonathan Kuminga after three seconds.
Hey Steve Kerr, what about Draymond’s turnover pass with 1 minute left when you were up at 3 last night at the Hou? What about Steph missing a 3 in 11 seconds when you were up 1? You had your chances. You screwed up. That was a foul. Jalen Green caught both FTs. Then BP was blocked.

Bayless is right to criticize Kerr and the Warriors for squandering opportunities to put the game out of reach. A series of turnovers and timeouts allowed the Rockets to get back into the game. It took two Jalen Green free throws to give Houston the lead with three seconds left to come back and end a long losing streak against Golden State.
Still, the foul on Kuming was particularly egregious as the officials kept the whistles under control for most of the game.
Instead of flying to Las Vegas for the NBA Cup semifinal game, the Warriors will return to the Chase Center to host Klay Thompson and the Dallas Mavericks.
Down 14-10, Golden State struggled to maintain any consistency. Just a few weeks ago, the team seemed to have rediscovered its winning ways, but things change quickly in the NBA. After losing seven of their last nine games, the Warriors find themselves a few steps behind the elite teams of the Western Conference.
Figuring out how to close out games will be a focal point for Kerr and the team, as attacking the referees won’t do much to change Golden State’s shooting woes in the fourth quarter.
