The internet is full of AI-powered videos robot dogs meeting puppies with real fur, they often seem afraid that they have encountered something they find disgusting.
In another clip recently to X-ago-Twitter, a a lucky big dog meets what appears to be a Unitree Go2 robot. It moves around using LiDAR, and can flip, stretch, and roll slightly thanks to AI-inspired simulation training. Adding this technology, we get a creature that looks like a tin can, but it moves independently.
But the big dog was not impressed with the science. It started barking at Go2, who barked in response, causing the real hound to back away.
