Two children among 10 killed in Russian missile strike on Sumy, Ukraine says By Reuters

KYIV (Reuters) – Ten individuals, together with two youngsters, have been killed and 52 have been injured on Sunday evening when a Russian missile hit a residential nine-storey constructing in Ukraine’s northeastern area of Sumy, Ukraine’s emergency providers and army mentioned.

“Sunday night for town of Sumy turned hell, a tragedy that Russia dropped at our land,” Volodymyr Artyukh, the pinnacle of the Sumy army administration mentioned in a submit on the administration’s Telegram messaging channel.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine mentioned on Telegram that rescuers and all vital providers continued to work on the scene and psychologists have been offering help to these affected.

Either side deny focusing on civilians of their strikes on one another’s territory. However hundreds have died since early 2022 in Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the overwhelming majority of them Ukrainians.
