The Buffalo Sabers announced that forward Sam Lafferty will not return against the Vancouver Canucks due to a lower-body injury.

Lafferty, 29, has played in 22 games this season with one goal and a minus-2 rating.
Lafferty joined the Sabers this past offseason, signing a two-year, $4 million contract in free agency. This comes after he spent the 2023-24 season with the Canucks, where he had 13 goals, 24 points and 191 blocks in 79 games.
