Vice President Kamala Harris’ first video to her supporters after the election stunned social media users on Tuesday.
The video, shared by the Democratic Party’s official X account, showed Harris speaking directly to supporters disappointed by the recent election.

Many X users were commenting on Harris’ appearance in the video, commenting that it looked like something had been “taken off” by the vice president and expressing their shared surprise.

The video is said to be from a call Harris made with donors and volunteers earlier today where he talked about his election loss for the first time since he endorsed President-elect Donald Trump.
“The outcome of the election is clearly not what we wanted. It’s not what we worked hard for. But I’m proud of the race we ran, and your work was difficult. What we did in 107 days was unprecedented.” Harris said.
Harris has been on the sidelines since the election and has been vacationing in Hawaii with second husband Doug Emhoff since last week.
