A mother called the police on her own child for threatening to shoot students at a local school.

Investigators said a student at Kettering Fairmont High School had a list of names of students he seemed to have problems with.

BELIEVABLE STORIES:

The investigation began when a parent came forward after finding a video on their child’s phone showing that they wanted to shoot school children, according to the district.

The district notified the family in a letter posted on social media.

On Monday, Kettering police and the district superintendent met with the students in the program and their families.

The student who made the threat is being held while undergoing a mental health evaluation

Police said they were talking to the prosecutor’s office about possible charges.
