New Congresswoman Not Allowed to Use Women’s Bathroom

Delaware Representative Sarah McBride made history when she was elected to Congress. He is the first openly transgender elected to the House of Representatives. Last week, Republican House member Nancy Mace from South Carolina introduced a bill that would prohibit people on federal property from using bathrooms and locker rooms that do not match the sex they were assigned at birth. This means that McBride had to use the men’s bathroom in Congress.
