In the now-viral videos, Trudeau is caught busting out dance moves and looking enthralled by Taylor Swift’s performance. Adding to the fun, he joined the tradition of the Eras Tour, exchanging friendship jewelry with nearby Swifties.

Trudeau’s carefree night on the Eras Tour sparked outrage as anti-NATO protests in his home riding of Montreal turned violent on Friday night. The police are said to have broken windows and set fire during a demonstration where the city was hosting the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
At 6:10 pm, the demonstrators lit a fire in the crowd and started marching together, throwing things including smoke bombs and irons on the street to hinder the police, as stated. CBC News reports.
The appearance of the Trudeau Eras Tour evokes a different reaction
As news broke of the Prime Minister’s Eras Tour, Canadians did not hesitate, rushing to social media to share their thoughts on the Prime Minister in his Swiftie era.
The leader of Canada’s Conservative Party quickly posted his thoughts on social media sharing “Trudeau fiddles while Montreal burns.”
One social media user said “Canada is lost,” as videos of the prime minister dancing all night flooded social media.
“The city is burning and like Roman emperor Nero, PM Trudeau is having a party,” said one X user.
In response to the outrage, the Canadian simply wrote that “I would say he looks like the biggest loser in the world.”
