Formula 1 has taken over Las Vegas for the second year in a row as the 22nd round of its world championship takes place on and around the iconic strip.
Three-time world champion Max Verstappen can secure his fourth consecutive championship by simply finishing ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris, who trails the Red Bull ace by 62 points with three race weekends remaining. The two will line up side by side on the 3rd row of the grid, with Verstappen qualifying fifth and Norris sixth. George Russell from Mercedes will start from pole position, followed by Carlos Sainz from Ferrari, Pierre Gasly from Alpine and Sainz’s teammate Charles Leclerc. Verstappen won last year’s event, his first at the Las Vegas circuit and his first in the city in more than 41 years.
