The Stoughton Police Department has announced that three children who were reported missing on Friday have been found in the Jamaica Plain area, following a nationwide alert.
Police were looking for Ashley Vazquez, 29, of Stoughton who is believed to have taken her three children, ages 10, 9, and 8, from her.
With help from several Massachusetts law enforcement agencies, including the Massachusetts State Police Critical Incident Technical Investigations Team and the Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section task force, Stoughton police were able to locate the children around 10:30pm on Friday in the Jamaica Plain area.
Using geolocation technology allowed investigators to locate Vazquez’s vehicle.
