Oscar Nominations Pushed to Jan. 19, Voting Extended 2 Days

The deadline for Oscar nomination voting has been prolonged two days because of the Southern California fires.

Voting for the almost 10,000 Academy members opened Jan. 8 and was initially set to shut on Jan. 12. Deadline is now Jan. 14.  The nominations announcement, initially scheduled to be introduced on Jan. 17, has moved to Jan. 19. Conan O’Brien will host the 2025  Oscars  ceremony, which takes place on March 2.
