What is the format?
The 54-hole event uses scramble, fourball and mixed fourball formats. Here’s a breakdown of those three according to tournament officials:
Round 1: Scramble
Each player hits a tee shot and the team chooses the ball to use for the next shot. From there, both players hit their next shots from that spot. This process continues until the ball is holed.
Round 2: fours (alternate shot)
Players from each team take turns hitting the same ball until the ball is stuck. One player will tee off on the odd holes and the other on the even holes.
Round 3: Modified fourball
Both players tee off and then exchange balls for their second shots and play the same ball until it is played. The partners’ lower scores then count as the team score for the hole.

What is the wallet and reward?
The total purse is $4 million, with the winning team splitting $1 million.
