2 masked people ‘targeted’ Cheektowaga home for burglary, shooting

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) – Two unknown people allegedly forced their way into a Cheektowaga home Tuesday afternoon and fired multiple shots in what police called a targeted incident, officials announced.

Just after 12 p.m., Cheektowaga police received a 911 call reporting gunshots around Sandstone Drive. When they arrived, police found the two homeowners inside the home, who they said were unharmed.

It is said that the two people, who were wearing masks, went to the house for unknown reasons, the police said. The type of weapon that was fired has not yet been identified.

The police said that so far, no one has been injured by this gun.
