After Election Day, we asked Trump voters in the BuzzFeed Community to tell us what they wish they had known before voting for him and why they might regret it. The results are interesting:
.“Well, this is the truth as far as I’m concerned. I voted and let the chips fall where they may. Now I wait and see. There are many things that can happen. No one really knows how it will go. The only thing that worries me is the nuclear weapons. The worry is that the North Koreans are now fighting for Russia; do you think Putin gave Kim What should he promote?”
.“Here’s the thing: I didn’t vote, but if I had voted, I would have voted for Trump. Now, I’m having second thoughts because I’m worried about the Department of Education and how the taxes will affect me. The reason I voted is because there are so many dangerous, undocumented Americans, and I’m passionate about getting rid of pregnancy is the murder of a defenseless child where the economy will go and thinking about what the schools of the future will be like makes me sad.”

.“My 20-year-old son is now worried about losing his health insurance. Our family’s understanding is that the Affordable Care Act’s best chance is to stay with a few tweaks, it’s bound to win, and it’s called ‘TrumpCare.’
.“If I knew he would be in trouble with the Department of Education. I have two children with IEPs and one in college.”

.“I wish I knew who Trump’s ministers would be. He is appointing people who have no skills and ethics. I am very concerned about RFK Jr. and his history of making millions by suing vaccine companies and giving false conclusions on vaccines. True. RFK and others are being nominated for cabinet positions. they are good at persuading people (like Trump) with lies based on facts and I still feel like I didn’t vote for Harris, but I regret that a better candidate wasn’t the choice.”
.“I can’t say I regret voting for Mr. Trump again, but I wish he would have added who the cabinet will be. I don’t like who is being elected now, and I don’t see them as qualified or skilled as he is. I’m worried that this means that government jobs are in danger, it would be good to know before it happens. “

.“The threat of taxes caused the insurance companies to withdraw the approval of prescription drugs. Before the election, I was approved for treatment with a very expensive drug. Fast forward three weeks after the election, I get a notice from my insurance company that they no longer approve this drug. What happened this time.
.“I liked to vote for Trump because I wanted to liberate Palestine, but when he was elected, he chose a group of Zionists for his council, and now I think the news may have lied to me about Trump.”

.“I thought the pandemic was over… what can he do now? I was really pro-Trump because I want to rule over immigrants. But he hasn’t even entered the office and he’s about to put the last nail in the coffin to learn. I’m afraid that public education can’t survive .”
.“Terrible cabinet selection.”

.“His poor cabinet decisions.”
.“His cabinet choices are laughable! And now the layoffs are forcing key employees to leave.”
– Anonymous, 66, California
.“I voted for Donald Trump because he said there would be no tax on overtime. But now I’m hearing that there will be no overtime at all. He won’t make it clear what it’s going to be like for the shutdown to go away, and I continue to see major jobs being cut and bonuses being cut.
.“I’ve been supporting the mass deportation plan, but only in parts. I think she’s going to go back on that plan and go 100% in, and I’m hearing it could cause some higher prices on groceries. I worry about that, but I wouldn’t have voted for Kamala.”

.“It seemed that no one wanted to reach out to my people – young men. We are not all “Rogan bros” – it was as if only Donald Trump gave us a seat at the big table. But now I am worried about him. drawing and what it will mean for gas prices I do not think that taxes will cause an increase a lot, but I didn’t know, and he didn’t explain the importance of Mexico and Canada to our trade I don’t like ‘I told you so’ from the left before they come back we will wait to see this game
.“I’m going to be honest here: I voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 without two minds, but this year is different. I think the other candidate will bring the big guns; I thought he beat him. But I’ve seen now a lot. Getting fired on Day 1 could have been bad. I want to believe that most of what he said has The truth is thick and maybe a piece of drama that makes you listen.”
